An independent eye on existing water and power systems.
Not all engagements are new builds. Keypoint SA also provides independent systems and operational reviews of existing property infrastructure – assessing the system itself, how it is configured and performing, how it is being operated and maintained, and whether the monitoring, testing and management controls around it are fit for purpose.
Across water, wastewater, power, land use, building performance and other property systems, Keypoint SA identifies weaknesses, inefficiencies, risks and information gaps, and sets out a practical way forward.
Typical clients: private property owners, HOAs, bodies corporate, boat clubs, private estates and agricultural holdings facing compliance questions, ageing infrastructure or systems that are not performing as they should.

Keypoint SA is founder-led, with Mike directly involved in assessing the situation, structuring the project and coordinating delivery.
Mike has worked across public-sector water treatment, residential construction, off-grid infrastructure, productive landscapes and complex multi-stakeholder projects. That practical background allows Keypoint SA to work comfortably across disciplines and to understand what needs to happen on the ground, not just on paper.
A background in high-end marine refit work also informs the practice: complex systems, exacting standards and no tolerance for poor coordination.
A practice of one, on purpose — no account managers, no handoffs. Keypoint SA brings it together as independent representation for owners whose projects need land, water, power, structure and people to work as one system. Western Cape based, working across South Africa and on selected projects further afield.
